David Auerbach
is an interdisciplinary researcher and educator. His interests span the history and theory of the built environment, philosophy, image studies, and the history of science and mathematics. He completed his MArch at Rhode Island School of Design, where he was the recipient of the Henry Fernandez Award for Excellence in the History and Theory of Architecture. Additionally, he holds a BA in Philosophy and Mathematics from Skidmore College. He teaches graduate courses at The New School in the Lighting Design MFA program at Parsons School of Design and is a consultant on architectural forensics cases at Basecamp AEC.
