David Auerbach
is a transdisciplinary researcher and educator. His interests predominantly span the history and theory of the built environment, philosophy, and image studies. He completed his MArch at Rhode Island School of Design, where he was the recipient of the Henry Fernandez Award for Excellence in the History and Theory of Architecture. Additionally, he holds a BA in Philosophy and Mathematics from Skidmore College. He currently teaches graduate courses in the Lighting Design program at The New School's Parsons School of Design and is a consultant on architectural forensics cases at Basecamp AEC.
